Today, we had the honor of recognizing two extraordinary Alliance City Schools teachers who continuously go above and beyond to support their students! ✈ ❤ Julie Hale is the 2025 ACS Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Hale is a 3rd grade Teacher at Alliance Elementary School. She has spent many years as a dedicated, kind and compassionate teacher who has made a positive impact on every student she has had the opportunity to teach! 🩵 Bailey Balderson is the 2025 ACS Rookie Teacher of the Year! Miss Balderson is a first year kindergarten teacher at Alliance Early Learning School. She may be a new teacher, but her kindness and unwavering confidence in her students has made her a fantastic edition to the Aviator team! Please join us in congratulating these two very deserving teachers! 👏👏 #RepthatA

Project Prom was a huge success! 👗 Last Friday, over 50 very excited students left with prom dresses, shoes, accessories and makeup! Thank you to everyone who helped in any way- donations, set-up and all of the personal shopping assistants. A special shout out to our seamstress who volunteered her time to alter dresses for the students for free. The AHS Cosmetology class also donated manicure services and makeup services for a few lucky winners. We are so proud of Alliance High School for offering this wonderful event each year to ensure students who want to go to prom have everything they need to make it a special night! 🩵❤️ #RepthatA

Our youngest Aviators enjoyed a family engagement day at Rodman Public Library on Friday! 📚 The preschoolers and their family members heard "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," 🐛 made their very own caterpillars and got to see a funny story acted out for them. 🧢 What a fun time for our Aviator families! ✈ #RepthatA

💰 AHS Students Experience Real-World Budgeting! 💼 Students at Alliance High School participated in the Real Money, Real World simulation, hosted by the YWCA of Alliance and The OSU Department of Family & Consumer Sciences of Stark County! This hands-on financial literacy experience was offered twice this year, once in the fall and again in the spring. During the simulation, students were assigned a career and income, along with real-life expenses such as housing, insurance, bills, and child care. They visited different stations, making financial decisions and learning to budget their money wisely to cover all their expenses. This valuable experience encouraged students to think critically about financial responsibility, budgeting, and living within their means. 👏 A huge thank you to all the volunteers who worked with our students, helping them gain important financial literacy skills that will benefit them beyond the classroom! #RepthatA

Teacher Day - Monday, March 24
Our 1st Graders Celebrated the 120th Day of School! 🎉 A key 1st-grade math standard is counting to 120, so instead of celebrating the 100th day of school like many other students in the district, our 1st-grade team makes learning fun by celebrating 120 days of learning! Students created 120th-day school projects and presented them to their peers in a fun parade-style presentation! What an exciting way to bring math to life! Great job, Aviators! 👏🔢 #RepthatA

The kindergartners in Tracy Bowser's class at Alliance Early Learning School were surprised with their very own Dr. Seuss stuffies thanks to Brittany Steed! She spent months thrifting the stuffed animals for her son and his classmates so each child could have one during Dr. Seuss week. What an amazing gift for our kindergarten friends! Thank you, Ms. Steed, for your kindness and generosity! 🩵❤️ #RepthatA
