Junior Gianna Phillips has been named one of 16 students who will take part in the Ohio Student Safety Advisory Council! The council was created in 2022 by Governor DeWine to help address school safety concerns and to create solutions. Gianna was selected to be part of the council after completing essays on how safety impacts her life, ideas for improvements and how she would like to represent ACS. She is an amazing representation of what it means to be an Aviator! We can't want to hear all about her experience as a member of the Ohio Student Safety Advisory Council. Congratulations! ✈✈ To find out more about the council, visit: https://tinyurl.com/mv8jn2ap #RepthatA

The last #LikeAGirl event of the year was led by Amy Miller, a science teacher at Alliance High School. She taught the girls all about bird migration! The high school Ornithology class made a variety of bird masks for the girls to wear on their journey. They learned just how difficult it is for the birds to survive such a long trek across the globe. 🦅 Thank you for an amazing year and I look forward to meeting up again next year! ✈ #RepthatA
