🎓 Kadence Adkins 🎓
Kadence will be attending Grace College to major in actuarial science and minor in Spanish.
During her time at AHS, she was involved in FCA, National Honor Society, student senate, class council, key club and academic challenge, soccer, tennis, softball, Choralaires, musicals and worked at Almost Heaven Ice Cream.
Positive staff member:
"Many teachers have had a drastic impact on me throughout high school, but my honored educator is my guidance counselor Mrs. Popio. She has prepared me for my future and next steps after high school, reassuring and guiding me for every scholarship and application I submitted. She has given me more personal, one-on-one attention than any other staff member, and her kindness, dedication, and helpfulness have made a positive impact on me that I will never forget."
Piece of Advice for Class of 2027:
"To the class of 2027, don't let grades define you, rather let your effort and passions determine your self-image. Everyone has their own gifts given by God, and pursuing that gift for His glory will give you purpose and fulfill you more than any salary, position, or person's opinion ever will."
What will you remember about AHS:
"I will always remember the people I've met and the relationships I've made through being involved in clubs, sports, and classes at Alliance High School. From teacher to advisor to classmate, I have made bonds with this community that I will remember as I go off to college, and I owe the credit to this community for any future successes I have."
Where do you see yourself in 5 years:
"In five years, I see myself as a new actuary after I graduate college and pass the Society of Actuaries exams. I see myself being fluent in Spanish, after minoring in the language and studying abroad. I will hopefully be moved into a house in the South in either North Carolina or Tennessee, where I will work as an actuary and be heavily involved in missionary work and travel to Hispanic countries to volunteer and evangelize. Ultimately, in five years I see myself on the Lord's path, wherever He may lead me."
Congratulations, Kadence! ✈ #RepthatA #AHSClassof2026

🎓 Hayden Oyster 🎓
Hayden will be attending Ohio University to study geology.
During his time at AHS, he was involved in football, tennis, Jetsetters, theatre, and Choralaires.
Positive staff member:
"A teacher who has made a lasting positive impact on me is Mrs. Chunat. She helped me discover my love for music and theatre. Now I cannot imagine being without music in my high school career, and I have her to thank for a relatively newfound passion of mine."
Piece of Advice for Class of 2027:
"Do as much as you can your senior year. As most everyone knows, this is the last time you'll be in school with all of your friends let alone in the same city. Take every opportunity you get this upcoming school year because the cliche is that it'll be over before you know it, and I don't know if I've heard a more true statement."
What will you remember about AHS:
"Something I will always remember from my time at AHS is my time in the music department. To say it has been the most influential thing in my time here is such an understatement. It didn't only bring me new friends I wouldn't have otherwise met, it had me reconnecting with old friends within."
Where do you see yourself in 5 years:
"In 5 years, I'd like to see myself graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s in either geology or conservation biology. If I would need to, I'd start to pursue applications for postgraduate programs in one of those fields. If not, I'd like to get started immediately at a job close to Alliance and eventually move out west to Seattle."
Congratulations, Hayden! ✈ #RepthatA #AHSClassof2026

🎓 Jordi Gonzalez-Summers 🎓
Jordi will be attending the University of Mount Union as an Investment Alliance Scholar where he plans to study exercise science.
During his time at AHS, he was involved in band, tennis, cross country and track.
Positive staff member:
"Mr. Winner made a positive influence on me because for one he's a really good teacher. I believe that his teaching style fits me perfectly. He's also been a consistent source of encouragement every year that I've had him."
Piece of Advice for Class of 2027:
"One piece of advice I have is to keep pushing. As you come to the end of your high school career, it becomes easier and easier to slack off but it's important that you don't. Lazy habits lead to a lazy lifestyle and that's not something that you're going to benefit from the next couple years after graduation."
What will you remember about AHS:
"One thing I think I'll never forget about Alliance High School is team dinners. The bond that can be made over even the simplest of meals is unbelievable."
Where do you see yourself in 5 years:
"In 5 years I'm hoping to be in Mount Union's post-grad physician assistant program, with a major in exercise science under my belt."

Mrs. Jones’ class at Alliance Intermediate School recently celebrated becoming published authors! 📚✏️
The 5th grade students researched topics of their choice and wrote informational pieces to teach others about what they learned. They also illustrated their writing to help bring the class book to life.
To celebrate their hard work, students participated in a Publishing Party where they read their work aloud and shared their illustrations with classmates. Their families even had the opportunity to purchase their very own copy of the books.
We are so proud of the creativity, effort and dedication these young authors showed throughout the project! #RepthatA

🎓 Kaycie Jurina 🎓
Kaycie will be attending the University of Mount Union as an Investment Alliance Scholar where she plans to study nursing and minor in Spanish.
During her time at AHS, she was involved in tennis and worked at Hot Pots Pottery.
Positive staff member:
"One teacher who has had a positive impact on me is Mrs. Bearss. I had her as my freshman foundations teacher and again as my senior ceramics teacher. In both classes, she pushed me to be more creative and to think outside the box in my projects. Whether an assignment was big or small, she always encouraged me to go a little further and refine it to show my true potential. Even when I felt frustrated, fed up with a project, or ready to give up on myself, she never gave up on me. She would always tell me to take it one step further, adding one more shadow or that final bit of texture. Her support and belief in me helped me grow not only as an artist, but also as a student."
Piece of Advice for Class of 2027:
"To the class of 2027, never give up. It's cliche and overused but true as can be. You are the only limit to your own potential. Classes will get boring, lectures will be long but the payoff of staying focused and giving every last assignment your all will be one of the most rewarding experiences you have. At the end of the day you will be able to say with integrity and peace knowing that you tried your best whether you succeeded or not. For a life fully lived is a life without regrets."
What will you remember about AHS:
"One thing that I will always remember about high school is all of the relationships that I formed and friendships that I have made with the best people in my life. The people that I’ve met have formed me into the person I am and I am so thankful for all of them."
Where do you see yourself in 5 years:
"In five years, I envision myself graduating with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. After that, I plan to secure a job at a hospital in Ohio to gain valuable experience. This experience will allow me to move on to be a travel nurse."

🎓 Keion Rose 🎓
Keion plans to attend the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics to become an aviation mechanic.
During his time at AHS, he was involved in golf, bowling, the auto tech career tech program and worked for Sarchione Ford of Alliance.
Positive staff member:
"Mr. Billingsley, he has opened my eyes to a wide variety of options in the mechanical side of things. I went from wanting to be a car mechanic, to a diesel mechanic, now wanting to be an aviation mechanic. He was always with the idea of them and gave me ideas and options of colleges or jobs to pick from.
And Mrs. Collins, she always was there to help the best she could if you needed extra help with signing certain things and couldn't understand during class. She would take the time after class or school to break it all down to you to help you perfect the things that you didn't understand."
Piece of Advice for Class of 2027:
"Participate in all the activities and things you can, you only get to do it once, so make the most of it and have fun. The activities will make senior year go by a little slower. Enjoy your last year before becoming an adult, because next thing you know you will be walking across the stage wishing you did all the things you didn't do."
What will you remember about AHS:
"My auto tech class was a fun but short 2 years, and I wish I could have more time with the people in the class. I went in thinking I wasn't going to enjoy it and ended up making some friends with new people. Mr. B is very knowledgeable and makes the class one of the best places to be."
Where do you see yourself in 5 years:
"In 5 years, I see myself working on airplane motors or even the big airline airplanes and possibly becoming an engineer in the future. I want to become more confident and focused on building a future where I can solve problems and create things that make a difference."
