Students were evacuated from the High School building today after a fire alarm went off at 10:05 a.m. The Alliance Fire Department and staff assessed the situation as students waited outside for 15 minutes. The building was determined to be safe and secure and students have returned to class.

Boys basketball games as well and boys and girls bowling is cancelled for tonight.

Due to a lack of change in conditions Alliance City Schools will be closed today, Tuesday, January 16. The Alliance Career Center will still have classes.
