🎓 Kadence Adkins 🎓
Kadence will be attending Grace College to major in actuarial science and minor in Spanish.
During her time at AHS, she was involved in FCA, National Honor Society, student senate, class council, key club and academic challenge, soccer, tennis, softball, Choralaires, musicals and worked at Almost Heaven Ice Cream.
Positive staff member:
"Many teachers have had a drastic impact on me throughout high school, but my honored educator is my guidance counselor Mrs. Popio. She has prepared me for my future and next steps after high school, reassuring and guiding me for every scholarship and application I submitted. She has given me more personal, one-on-one attention than any other staff member, and her kindness, dedication, and helpfulness have made a positive impact on me that I will never forget."
Piece of Advice for Class of 2027:
"To the class of 2027, don't let grades define you, rather let your effort and passions determine your self-image. Everyone has their own gifts given by God, and pursuing that gift for His glory will give you purpose and fulfill you more than any salary, position, or person's opinion ever will."
What will you remember about AHS:
"I will always remember the people I've met and the relationships I've made through being involved in clubs, sports, and classes at Alliance High School. From teacher to advisor to classmate, I have made bonds with this community that I will remember as I go off to college, and I owe the credit to this community for any future successes I have."
Where do you see yourself in 5 years:
"In five years, I see myself as a new actuary after I graduate college and pass the Society of Actuaries exams. I see myself being fluent in Spanish, after minoring in the language and studying abroad. I will hopefully be moved into a house in the South in either North Carolina or Tennessee, where I will work as an actuary and be heavily involved in missionary work and travel to Hispanic countries to volunteer and evangelize. Ultimately, in five years I see myself on the Lord's path, wherever He may lead me."
Congratulations, Kadence! ✈ #RepthatA #AHSClassof2026
