ALLIANCE, OHIO – (March 29, 2022) – The Alliance Board of Education is seeking to fill two positions. One position is to be filled immediately with the term lasting until December of 2023. The second is expected to become vacant on June 1 with the term ending in December of 2025.
\r\nThe Alliance Board of Education will be accepting applications beginning immediately for both positions. Applications can be printed at https://tinyurl.com/ythepn6z or picked up in the superintendent’s office at the Alliance City School administration building, 200 Glamorgan St. Applications should be dropped off or mailed to the ACS administration building and addressed to the Care of Elayne Dunlap, Board of Education. Monday, April 4 will be the last day applications will be accepted.
\r\nAccording to Ohio law, individuals serving on an Ohio school board must be at least 18 years old, a resident of the district and a registered voter.
\r\nFollowing the deadline for applications, the school board will begin the interview process with the selected candidates. The board plans to appoint the new member before April 15 for the immediate position. The second position will be appointed at a later date in June.
