ACS to Hold Virtual Community Meeting

Alliance City Schools will hold a Virtual Community Meeting on Wednesday, Apr. 15 to discuss consolidating the preschool through third grade buildings and the Alternative Academies into true grade-level buildings. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom.

\r\n

The virtual meeting is in place of the three community meetings that were cancelled due to the COVID-19 virus. The goal is the same as the meetings previously scheduled- to gather community input on the consolidation of the buildings.

\r\n

Since the meeting will not take place in person, community members have the ability to fill out an electronic form here: https://forms.gle/jj3rkymMhSSWdBK48. Questions and concerns will be addressed live during the meeting.

“It is important for us to make an informed decision based on the information provided during community meetings. Unfortunately, we weren't able to have the meetings in person like we had originally planned. During the virtual meeting, we will provide all the necessary information about the proposed plan. Gathering your questions beforehand will allow us to address your concerns to the best of our abilities,” said Jeffery Talbert, superintendent.

Please call 330-829-2275 if you are unable to fill out the form electronically and have a question you would like answered during the virtual meeting.

The link to the meeting will be posted on the ACS website, http://www.alliancecityschools.org/boe-virtual-meetings, 10-15 minutes before the meeting is scheduled to begin. Simply click the link on the web page to access the meeting.
