The students at Alliance Early Learning School have been taking part in the Artful Living and Learning program through the Stark County Educational Service Center! The vision of the program is "to transform the lives of children and families through the power of the arts." The Artful Living & Learning teachers provide a 20 minute lesson that teaches the students about dance, drama, music or visual arts. What a fun experience for our young Aviators! #RepthatA

Our kindergartners have been learning about careers from special visitors! Yesterday, Mayor Andreani visited the students and told them about all the different departments he's in charge of. The students even had a chance to ask him questions about his job and some of his favorite things. #RepthatA

The preschoolers in Rachelle Miller's morning class read "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!" with Superintendent Gress last week! The students did a very good job of reminding Mr. Gress why pigeons can't drive a bus! #RepthatA

Annie Horner is the School Counselor at Alliance Early Learning School! Here are 5 fun facts about Mrs. Horner: 1. She can speak backwards. 2. She loves to start major DIY projects and make her husband finish them. 3. Cooking is therapeutic for her and the more tedious and time-consuming the preparations, the more she enjoys the recipe. 4. She cannot do laundry if she's not completely mentally prepared to do laundry. 5. Her grandpa taught her how to golf at a very young age, but her game completely falls apart if a snack cart comes around. #RepthatA

Learning letters is fun! Caitlin Driscoll, a teacher at AELS, incorporates movement into her lessons with students. The movements can include yoga poses, walking down the hall or making the shape of the letter with their bodies, like shown in the photo. They were working on the letter "L!" We have the best teachers here at ACS! They work hard to meet the students where they are and find the best way to help students learn! #RepthatA

The “Here Comes the Bus” app is currently down. Unfortunately, we are anticipating the app to be down until mid-February. Verizon Wireless no longer supports the 3G equipment on our buses effective January 1. New 4G equipment has been ordered; however, due to shipping delays we are still waiting for the equipment to arrive so it can be installed. We will send out an update once the app is back up and running. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions regarding busing, please contact the Bus Garage at 330-829-0348.
