Alliance City Schools Welcomes families, guardians, students, and community to the Health Information Website. The district is proud to have on staff two RNs and four Health Aides who hold an LPN certification, please see the assignment of each staff listed below.
The goal of the Health Site is to provide updated health information on a variety of topics that include: immunizations, screenings, resources, and health forms. Information and/or updates from the Ohio Department of Health and Ohio Department of Education are updated as announced.
Effective communication between the building’s nurse or health aide and parents is extremely important in order to help your child in the event of an illness or injury. Please contact your building health aide or nurse and if not available leave a message with information regarding your child. Your call will be returned as soon as possible. We are better able to care for your child if we have the specific information available to us. It’s important that parents/guardian home, work and cell numbers are current to be able to reach you in case of an emergency. Please call your child's building secretary to notify them of any phone or address changes.
Below are listed each school building’s Health Aide and/or Nurse for you to contact with any concerns or questions:
Let's stay healthy!!
Studies have shown that school absenteeism due to illness is reduced when children practice good hand washing. Please teach, model, and encourage your child to wash their hands frequently and especially after coughing or sneezing, before and after meals, after using the bathroom, and after playing outside. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze!
