Alliance City Schools will be closed on Monday, April 8th for the Solar Eclipse. After consulting with the Stark County Emergency Management Agency and the Stark County Education Service Center, we have determined that it is in the best interests of our students, staff, and families to close school due to the anticipated number of people that will visit Stark County to view the Eclipse. The students at Alliance Middle School participated in a school-wide reading competition called The Tower of Books. Students were challenged to read as many books as they could over two months. The winners got to enjoy a pancake party in the library. There were 45 participants and over 296 books read. Way to #RepthatA!
