Flyer for the October #LikeAGirl event. The free program connects elementary and middle school girls with female Alliance High School mentors who are leaders in sports, clubs and academics, with the goal of empowering girls to see their full potential and build life skills. The event is Wednesday, October 1, 2026, from 6–7 pm at Alliance High School, Room 235. The October theme is “Adventure Awaits!” Guests from Troop 50 will discuss how Scouting is part of everyday life. Participants will rotate through interactive stations, some involving movement, and should wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes. A QR code is included for registration. Each year, Alliance City Schools participates in Start With Hello Week! 👋 A simple "Hello" has the power to change a person's entire day. Throughout the week, all Aviators will participate in activities that strive to make connections, build relationships and provide a sense of belonging in our school community.

This policy is designed to ensure the safety and comfort of all spectators in attendance at Aviator athletic events.

Please review the information below for details on what types of bags are permitted and prohibited. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our Alliance Aviators! ✈

Alliance City Schools Bag Policy for Sporting Events. The flyer explains that the policy is intended to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all spectators at athletic events. Permitted bags include: Small purses or handbags Crossbody bags Fanny packs Clutch bags Diaper bags when accompanied by a child Small clear plastic bags containing necessary medical items, subject to inspection Prohibited bags include: Backpacks of any kind Drawstring bags Duffel bags Oversized totes or any abnormally large bags Additional notes: All bags are subject to inspection. Spectators without an approved bag will be asked to return the item to their vehicle. School officials or designees reserve the right to deny entry to anyone with a prohibited item. Bags used by media personnel must be placed in designated areas as indicated upon arrival. The flyer concludes: “We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our school events safe and enjoyable for everyone.”

On Friday, we officially welcomed the newest members of our Aviator team! They took part in a full day of Flight School, where they learned about our culture, participated in a bus tour of Alliance and discovered what it means to be part of ACS.

Alliance City Schools will once again have staggered starts for the 2026-27 school year! 📆

Once your child starts school, they will continue to go. For example, if a 1st grader starts on Tuesday, Aug. 18, they will also attend Wednesday, Aug. 19.
