Brianna Boehlke, a history teacher at AHS, traveled to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam this summer! The best part was learning more about the Vietnam War to further enrich her history lessons. She even had the chance to enter a Cù Chi tunnel used during the war.

Zaine (6th) and Zaniya Clark (4th) and Zion Billiter (11th) spent some time with family this summer in Syracuse, NY where they swam, cooked out and even met professional boxer Roy Jones Jr.! 🥊

Maddie Woodruff (7th) traveled all the way to Disneyland in Paris, France this summer! 🇫🇷 She enjoyed the history of Paris and visited the Palace of Versailles, Notre Dame Cathedral and Westminster Abbey. Maddie also enjoyed the cafes on every street corner. ☕

Delilah (4th), Piper (2nd), Mercy (K) Mercer and their baby brother Kai visited the Akron Zoo this summer! 🦓 Delilah loved seeing the armadillo running around, Mercy enjoyed watching the tiger sleep and Piper loved the otter slide. 🐅 What a fun adventure!

Kenya Woods, 5th grade, visited Virginia Beach this summer! Jaydan Mergenthaler (6th) and Christopher Masters (4th) travelled to Corolla, NC where they swam in the ocean and watched the dolphins and sunrise with their mom! 🌅🐬 According to their mom, Jadi, the best part of the vacation was watching the boys be carefree. They swam every day, saw dolphins and horses and enjoyed the peacefulness of the trip.
