✨ CARING CITIZENS ✨ The Alliance High School Foundation of Art and Art Club students are wrapping up an impressive effort with textile arts! Crocheted 8" x 8” squares will be stitched together to form collaborative blankets. 🧶 In the season of thanks, students will give back to the community that supports them by distributing the completed blankets to our local hospitals and nursing homes. Students also had the opportunity to make hats. Much of the yarn they used was donated and in an effort to reciprocate, students have to make a hat in order to take a hat! Way to go, Aviators! ✈ #RepthatA

The 7th graders have been reading "A Christmas Carol" in class! They worked hard on designing different backgrounds for scenes to bring the play to life. As a way to make learning fun and engaging, the 7th graders traveled to Kent State Stark University to watch the Players Guild's production of "A Christmas Carol." What a great experience for our students! 🎭 #RepthatA

Kelly Barthel and Jason Dotson combined fun and learning together when they had a sight word snowball fight! Mrs. Barthel wrote high frequency words on papers and crinkled them up into snowballs. While Mr. Dotson played some music, the kiddos tossed the snowballs around. When the music stopped, the kids took their snowballs to their seats and wrote down the word they had. How fun! ❄️ #RepthatA
