Message from Mr. Talbert

Dear Aviator Families,

\r\n

I am reaching out to inform you that although our buildings are not physically open and available, our staff is still on the job making sure we are able to provide as much support as possible to our families.

\r\n

The following is some updated information I feel is important for you to know.

\r\n

Contacting Schools

\r\n

The majority of our team members are working from home during this time. If you need to contact us, we ask that you do so through email if at all possible. If email is not available to you, please call your building and leave a voicemail containing your name, number and reason for your call. We will monitor our voicemails throughout the day and work to return all calls between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm each scheduled school day. If you leave a voicemail, your return phone call will appear as “no caller ID.” Please be sure to answer the phone call, so we can help answer your question.

\r\n

Meal Plan

\r\n

We will continue to serve grab-and-go meals each weekday from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm at all school buildings including the Alliance Community Center. We also have food stops at the following locations: Memorial and Maple Beach Parks

\r\n

Please Remember: we will not be serving meals on days that were previously scheduled as days off for students. We will try to alert parents through social media and text messages when these days will take place.

\r\n

Remote Learning

\r\n

Our remote learning plan goes into effect Monday, March 23rd. Teachers will be available via email during the hours of 9 am and 2 pm on all school days. If your child is having trouble with their device or does not have access to wifi, please contact our tech department via email at ithelpdesk@alliancecityschools.org or text message at +1 (330) 583-5639. All other questions should be directed to your school building via email or phone call.

\r\n

We will keep you posted as often as possible through email, all-calls, text messages and social media. With more information coming in everyday, we need to be flexible and anticipate change. We appreciate you bearing with us during this unprecedented time.

\r\n

Sincerely,

\r\n

Jeffery S. Talbert
