✈ Carley (Meiring) Yost ✈
Position: Secretary
School: Alliance Preschool
Graduation Year: 2003
Years at ACS: 13
Favorite Memory:
"I loved my time in broadcast arts my junior and senior year. Also meeting my high school sweetheart, TJ Yost, who I am now married to."
Influential Staff Member:
"So many teachers positively impacted my time at Alliance City Schools. A couple that stick out were Richard Claflin, my broadcast arts teacher, for always believing in me even when I lacked confidence. DeAnn Zavarelli for having such a kind, loving spirit."
Choosing to work for ACS:
"When my son was going into preschool a job opening for the school nurse became available and I immediately knew it's where I was supposed to be. It has been very rewarding working where my children go to school. Coworkers have become like family and the strong bonds I have made are countless."
Importance of giving back:
"Being born and raised in Alliance and now having our children at Alliance City Schools, we realize how important it is to positively represent and improve our community. The schools have so much to offer and I feel thankful that by working here that I can make a positive impact on the youth."
Mrs. Yost's journey from student to staff member is a wonderful example of giving back to the community she’s proud to call home. 🩵❤️ #RepthatA
