Alliance Intermediate School held the 75th Memorial Day Parade on Friday. 🇺🇸 The students and staff marched nearly one mile from the school to the Alliance City Cemetery where they held a ceremony honoring those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice.
With this being the 75th year, Mayor Andy Grove, whose father helped start the tradition, spoke to the students and staff during the ceremony. The memorial wreath was laid, and the National Anthem was sung by the students in Deb Boschini's class.
We would like to thank all the community members who joined us for this honored tradition. We are so proud of our students and staff at AIS. ✈ #RepthatA

Mrs. Jones’ class at Alliance Intermediate School recently celebrated becoming published authors! 📚✏️
The 5th grade students researched topics of their choice and wrote informational pieces to teach others about what they learned. They also illustrated their writing to help bring the class book to life.
To celebrate their hard work, students participated in a Publishing Party where they read their work aloud and shared their illustrations with classmates. Their families even had the opportunity to purchase their very own copy of the books.
We are so proud of the creativity, effort and dedication these young authors showed throughout the project! #RepthatA

Melanie Dubaj's and Kim Cody's classes at Alliance Intermediate School combined for a lemonade tasting activity. 🍋 Students tasted pink and regular lemonade and decided which one they liked better! Then they polled their classmates and graphed and tallied the responses. Pink lemonade was the overall winner!
They then learned about adjectives and brainstormed words that described the lemonade they had just tasted. How fun! #RepthatA
