CANTON STUDENT LOAN FOUNDATION: The Canton Student Loan Foundation provides low interest student loans to Stark County graduates who have and maintain at least a 2.00 GPA and who are pursuing post high school education or training on a full-time basis. ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY SCHOLARSHIP: The mission of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.'s National Educational Educational Foundation is to support higher education achievement through scholarships and conduct community education programs and related research to improve individual and community living standards. The Foundation annually provides financial assistance to worthy students pursuing higher education both at the Undergraduate and Graduate levels. DISCOVER SCHOLARSHIP SEARCH: Discover's college scholarship search tool gives students fast access to over 3 million scholarships. With this tool, students can customize their scholarship search to meet their unique needs. THROCKMORTON SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is for students who met these specific requirements: Student must be African American or Native American and must reside within the Northeast Ohio or Western Pennsylvania geographic region, have a copy of birth certificate, attend an educational facility that must be in Northeastern Ohio or Western Pennsylvania, have a copy of current High School/College grades and GPA, have a current financial needs form from the school that documents grants, scholarships and loans being presently received, have a current bill from the school for the next semester/quarter, have a copy of the courses being taken for the next semester/quarter, write a one or more short paragraphs that should state why you should be considered, your future goals, college major/minor, needs, extracurricular activities at school or in the community, and send in final high school transcript (if applying during senior year of high school). DISTINGUISHED YOUNG WOMEN SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is for any young lady who is involved in school and/or community activities, has outstanding in academics, leadership, athletics, or the arts.  Click here for the link to the application.

OHIO UNIVERSITY CHEMICAL ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is available through Ohio University for any student interested in chemical engineering who is an Alliance High School graduate. Requirements include admission to Ohio University and acceptance into the Engineering college. Click here for the website to access the website. MENSA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP: Based on essay contest. Entry form can be found on: Click here for website. Once on the webpage, Click on "Scholarship Application" link on left side of page. DEADLINE: Depends on which scholarships the student is applying for, please check each scholarship and deadline

THE BEAUTY + WELLNESS SCHOLARSHIP: This $1,000 scholarship is to support the health of college women. Requirements: Must be a graduating high school senior, current college undergraduate, or current graduate student at a 4-year, 2-year, vocational, or technical school in the United States, must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, and must identify as female. All majors and GPAs are welcome to apply! Click here for the application. The scholarship will be given out quarterly. Deadlines are January 1, March 31, June 30, and September 30 every year.

HORATIO ALGER SCHOLARSHIPS: These national and state scholarships are based on students pursuing a bachelor's degree, who have at least a 2.0 GPA and who need financial assistance for college. Click here for link

CARING.COM SCHOLARSHIP: As the population of older adults continues to grow and life spans lengthen, more and more young people are taking on the role of caregiver for older loved ones. While the exact number of young people taking on this responsibility is not well understood, it’s estimated to be well over 1 million.On top of their demanding caregiving duties, many of these young people are simultaneously pursuing high school, college or graduate-level education. Scholarships for student-caregivers help ease the financial burden faced by these extremely hardworking students. Click here for multiple scholarships. COLLEGE BOARD SCHOLARSHIPS: This program was created to help students earn the chance at a scholarship. The program is currently open to class of 2021 students in the United States, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories, regardless of citizenship status. U.S. citizens and residents attending Department of Defense Education Activity schools abroad may also participate. At least half of all scholarships are designated for students whose families earn less than $60,000 per year.Click here for the application website.

JACK KENT COOKE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP - The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is looking for applicants for their College Scholarship. Requirements include Exceptional academic ability and achievement: Strong academic record, academic awards and honors, and substantive assessments by educators providing confidential recommendations. In addition to GPA and college entrance exam scores, we consider participation in available advanced courses, commitment to learning, and intellectual curiosity; Unmet financial need: Demonstrate unmet financial need/will consider applicants with family income up to $95,000; Persistence: Determination and perseverance in the face of challenges, ability to set and remain focused on goals and to put in the effort needed to meet those goals in the face of obstacles; Leadership: Ability to organize and positively influence others in and out of school (family, religious community, sports, arts, etc.); Service to Others: Purposeful and meaningful commitment to others which may be evidenced by participation in volunteer/community service activities. WILL DENT MINORITY BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIP: The Will Dent Minority Business Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors in Stark County or current college students that are looking to pursue a business major with an accumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher. BROOKS LAW GROUP SCHOLARSHIP: The Brooks Law Group provides a $ 1,000 car accident injury scholarship to any high school senior or current undergraduate student, in the U.S. college or university, which will be beneficiary for students.
